Snow in Arizona?!? The high's were in the mid 30's and snow covered the ground when we arrived in Taylor, Arizona - approx. 10 hours from Riverside, CA. Taylor is located in the north-western part of the state, with an elevation of 5800 ft. and a population around 3,200. This was a fun small town with a lot of rich history of settlers that established the town. We really enjoyed the small museums and historic houses, bob-sledding (
see video), eating good food, playing games with family, and most of all... playing with our 2 1/2 year old nephew, Billy. It was great to spend time with family, we miss them being so far away. But we are so happy for them and their new house, which is perfect for them, and will allow Billy to grow up like a true boy, able to play in the beautiful nature. We look forward to going back to visit soon!
