USC Game ~ Birthday fun!

Celebrating Jerry’s 36^th birthday at a USC game with friends was a lot of fun!  We met up for drinks and appetizers in downtown LA before the game.  Then we walked a couple blocks to the train station.  This was the first time we had taken the Metro Train in downtown; it was such a fun experience!  The train was filled with USC fans, most heading to the game as well.  I had brought cupcakes and Jello shots for the game which we intended to enjoy outside the stadium, but ended up passing them around the train to other fans to enjoy as well.  Another person on the train was also celebrating a birthday, so the whole train sang Happy Birthday to Jerry and the other passenger.  USC did not win the game against CAL, but we had a wonderful time celebrating Jerry’s Birthday with friends!

Italian Catholic Federation Dinner

Our family has been attending St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Gardena for over 60 years.   Every year the church hosts an Italian Catholic Dinner.  It's a fun night with family and fellow Italian Catholics.  This year my aunt & uncle from New Mexico were in town visiting, it was nice to have them with us this year.
