Brunch at Pacific City in Huntington Beach

Traveling is our thing…we love seeing the world,
experiencing different cultures and meeting people. In 2015 the two of us took a short cruise out
of Long Beach. This had been my 6th
cruise and his 4th…but the first time we cruise just the two of
us. With so much to do on the ship, we
knew we’d have a blast by ourselves. We
never expected to become fast friends with a group that we met on day 1! Just prior to the mandatory emergency drill,
we chatted with someone in line for Pizza, she told us that this was the best
food stand. We got our pizza and were on
our way. The next day, docked in
Catalina, we ran into the same person and her group of friends at a bar that is
off the beaten path. Catalina is small,
but we found it funny that we ended up at the same place again. Drinks were flowing, conversations were
effortless…we all became fast friends.
We ended up having dinner every night with them, went on an excursion,
saw shows, drank lots of alcohol and laughed a lot. When the cruise was over, we exchanged phone
numbers knowing we’d see each other again.
This was 2 years ago. We get
together when we can…this time we met up for brunch and drinks. Feels like vacation every time we get
together. We know there is always going
to be lots of laughs, flowing drinks and great memories. Cheers to our cruise friends!!
